IT’S A GIRL! My sister Ann gave birth, at around 7:00 am on July 4th, to the newest member of our family, Audrey Feng Simon. Welcome to the world, young Ms. Simon! Our little Audrey was delivered a full month early, after 8 hours of labor, and then, only by cesarian section. Both mother and daughter are in the hospital until Sunday, when both will be whisked back home by proud husband and father, Bob. How exciting! Just think – by the time our young Audrey graduates from college, it’ll be 2024! Imagine all that will have changed by then! We’ll probably have a black, female lesbian as president, and of course, world peace will have been declared a few years prior. And and when she reaches 100, it’ll be 2102, at which time I can only assume she’ll have super-kinetic prosthetic devices which will allow her to lift 3 times her weight and see through metal walls. Ah, to be alive in 2102 when we are finally freed from our biological limitations . . . . Here are a couple of pictures of mother and pre-cybergenically altered daughter.
