It should come as no surprise that the ugly side of the Republican Party is emerging again, now that they are staring defeat in the face. After all, this is the party whose big tent is enough for David Duke. From “terrorist fist jabs” to the insistence on calling Obama, Barack “Hussein” Obama, there’s no end to the moronic attacks Obama is going to see.
Check out this smug, self satisfied, racist bullshit. A website in Utah is selling a stuffed monkey doll that they call, “The Sock Obama.” That’s pretty freaking racist if you ask me.
Ever since George Bush started using lies to start wars where thousands of American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians die, I have wondered how it was that our House of Representatives could be so full of cowards. As far as I’m concerned, if a sitting president violates his oath to protect the constitution as egregiously as this one has, causing people to DIE, and you take impeachment “off the table” as Nancy Pelosi did, then you are derelict in your duties. According to Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution these clowns are sworn to uphold:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Note that it says “shall be removed,” not “can be optionally be removed if it is convenient.” It seems like it would be your DUTY if you’re in the House of Representatives. Not your option. Of course, our pitiful and weaselly politicians will do nothing, since they don’t want to rock the boat on an election year.
But thank god for Dennis Kucinich, seemingly the only sane person in the House of Representatives. He recently brought articles of impeachment against George Bush which makes him my hero. And everyone else in the House can, as Hansel in Zoolander said, “can derilick my balls.”
Neatorama is a cool website that posts about neat things. They recently had a cool post showing the evolution of company logos. Take a look.
Why sit and do email, when you can walk and do email? This contraption was spotted the other day by yours truly, at work.

If you have about 30 minutes to spare, this interview is worth a read. It’s a first hand account, published in 1973, of John McCain’s experience in a Vietnamese prison camp.
Here’s an interesting idea put forth by the writers of the HBO show, “The Wire” – The drug war in this country is a monumental failure, and our politicians are so cowardly that they won’t do anything about it, so if you are ever serving on a jury deliberating a violation of state or federal drug laws, don’t convict. Just don’t do it.
