Bush Sex Roleplay – “Nobody screws this country like you, W!”

The seamy underbelly of the Republican Party

It should come as no surprise that the ugly side of the Republican Party is emerging again, now that they are staring defeat in the face. After all, this is the party whose big tent is enough for David Duke. From “terrorist fist jabs” to the insistence on calling Obama, Barack “Hussein” Obama, there’s no end to the moronic attacks Obama is going to see.

Check out this smug, self satisfied, racist bullshit. A website in Utah is selling a stuffed monkey doll that they call, “The Sock Obama.” That’s pretty freaking racist if you ask me.

Dennis Kucinich – the only person in the House of Representatives who is doing his job.

denniskucinich.jpg Ever since George Bush started using lies to start wars where thousands of American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians die, I have wondered how it was that our House of Representatives could be so full of cowards. As far as I’m concerned, if a sitting president violates his oath to protect the constitution as egregiously as this one has, causing people to DIE, and you take impeachment “off the table” as Nancy Pelosi did, then you are derelict in your duties. According to Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution these clowns are sworn to uphold:

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Note that it says “shall be removed,” not “can be optionally be removed if it is convenient.” It seems like it would be your DUTY if you’re in the House of Representatives. Not your option. Of course, our pitiful and weaselly politicians will do nothing, since they don’t want to rock the boat on an election year.

But thank god for Dennis Kucinich, seemingly the only sane person in the House of Representatives. He recently brought articles of impeachment against George Bush which makes him my hero. And everyone else in the House can, as Hansel in Zoolander said, “can derilick my balls.”

Civil Disobedience against the drug war – don’t convict

Here’s an interesting idea put forth by the writers of the HBO show, “The Wire” – The drug war in this country is a monumental failure, and our politicians are so cowardly that they won’t do anything about it, so if you are ever serving on a jury deliberating a violation of state or federal drug laws, don’t convict. Just don’t do it.

American Solider talks about his actions in Iraq

This is a pretty compelling, if disturbing video where one soldier talks about some of the things he did in Iraq. I admire his honestly, because he admits to having killed innocent civilians, but it’s just more evidence that war is always irredeemably bad, and that what we are actually doing in Iraq is creating hatred that will take generations to erase. (if it is possible at all)

I’m still waiting for an impeachment of George Bush for the actions of his administration. It appears that Nancy Pelosi and the other cowards in congress are too chickenshit to ever do it, which means they are absolutely abdicating their responsiblity.

My message to the undecided Democratic superdelegates:

Decide already, you idiots! What the hell are you waiting for? That goes for Al Gore, Jimmy Carter and all of you fools. You should make up your mind, let us know, and help us end this ridiculous primary season.

Hillary Clinton is a racist.

Somehow, because I’ve been embroiled in work for the past week, I totally missed the whole flareup over Geraldine Ferraro’s objectionable comments about Barack Obama’s race.

Here’s what she said:

If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.

Of course Hillary Clinton, who lives in a glass house in this regard, called the comment ‘regrettable’ and then allowed Ferraro to blather on for a week, all while claiming that, “Look, we know that we don’t control what is said by everybody who supports us.” That is a real quote from Hillary Clinton.

I call bullshit. First of all, Ferraro was on her finance committee. Secondly, Ferraro wouldn’t shut up for a week, and went on FOX to keep talking. In this era of reacting within a single news cycle, there is no way that someone associated with the Clinton campaign talks for that long, so visibly, on such a controversial topic, without the approval of the campaign.

And that’s what is so disturbing. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to divine the message – Barack Obama is black, and he’s an affirmative action case who is really unqualified for the position. It’s an insulting position to take and it’s also cynical in the extreme. It plays to our worst tendencies as a people and divides us as a nation. And oh, it’s something the Republicans would do. Her too-little-too-late repudiation of Ferraro is just fucking lame.

Ferraro, for her part, has resigned, but she is shocked (SHOCKED!) that anyone would consider her a racist. But who cares about Ferraro? She’s a nobody. It’s Clinton that I care about, and I for one, am done with her and her quasi-racist, unethical and frankly incompetent campaign. As a lifelong Democrat, and two time Bill Clinton supporter, I am swearing off all Clintons forever. I won’t vote for McCain, but I won’t vote for Hillary either. Or Chelsea. They’re all dead to me.

Oh, and check out this video of Keith Olbermann’s response: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWAhITmoOlM

Another amazing Hillary video!

Here’s one more!

Did you know McCain has a video too?

Here it is.

My Friend Barack

barackismyfriend.jpgWho are you voting for this election season? As for me, I will be voting for my friend, Mr. Barack Obama.
